Special Town Meeting: Bond for Wastwater System Improvements

The Town of YourTown, NH will hold a Special Town Meeting on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 6:30pm at the YourTown Town Hall. The purpose of the Special Town Meeting is to discuss and vote on the issuance of a bond for wastewater system improvements.

The estimated project cost of $13,343,000 includes preparing plans and specifications and construction of a new wastewater treatment facility capable of meeting new EPA discharge requirements. It is estimated that approximately $8,643,000 of the total project cost will be paid in the form of grants from the Federal and State governments to reduce the total cost to users of the wastewater collection and treatment systems.
